This loft conversion transformed an unused roof space into a spacious new bedroom with a modern en-suite, built-in wardrobes, and folding doors with a Juliet balcony. Designed to create more living space and add value to the home, the finished room is bright, practical, and stylish.
Our team completed all aspects of the project, including structural works, insulation, staircase installation, plumbing, electrics, plastering, and bespoke joinery. The result is a high-quality loft conversion that blends seamlessly with the rest of the property while making the most of the available space.
One of the main challenges in this loft conversion was working within the limited space and access typical of a terraced house. Careful planning was needed to carry out the structural works, install the new staircase, and complete the conversion with minimal disruption to the rest of the property.
Another key challenge was the relocation of the gas boiler to allow the new loft layout to work effectively and to maintain safe access for future servicing and maintenance. This was resolved by moving the boiler to a more practical location within the property, with all associated pipework and connections adjusted to suit the new arrangement.
Creating enough head height, natural light, and usable storage was also important. This was overcome through a well-designed layout that included a spacious bedroom, fitted wardrobes, and folding doors with a Juliet balcony, helping the new loft feel open, bright, and comfortable.
The end result was a practical and stylish loft conversion that made the most of the available space while overcoming the restrictions often found in terraced homes.
